I forgot about that ballast resistor.. I havent gotten that far yet on this trucks wiring.

So, why does buying a coil from Pertronix Ignition allow you to eliminate that ballast resistor?

Cant one just buy a coil woth an internal balast resistor?

Someone please comment on this.. I never liked that in line resistor.. Oh, and I had one go on me too! The thing just died. Took me awhile to figure out that was the problem..
