The best way that I've seen to make those 6x6's even more off roadable is to make them into 4x4's, and the tank is ugly, that's why I said take the tank off and put on your "custom" tank.
Someone down south has a really wild 2.5 ton 4x4, and posted pictures of it a little while back. It looked totally cool!
Yea, Mark, those 6x6's were never very good of road anyways, that's why the military hardly ever used them.

I've "finished" a couple of trucks, but that was a little while before you were around the forum. I'll e-mail you before and after pictures of 3 of them if you like, I dont feel the need to get in a tool measureing contest with you here on the forum.
I'm a working on a '56 right now, but it's going to be a while before you see the final assembly. I have a regular job and family commitments at home that take up a fair amount of time. Not everyone here has the free time that you do to whip out a restoration in 3 or 4 months.
I know you have stuff going on at home also. Speaking of that, how are those calfs you pulled doing? It's been awhile since we've heard or seen anything about them.
