I am a Environmental Health Practitioner with a local public health unit based in Minot, ND. A fancy name for a health inspector. I design, inspect and troubleshoot onsite sewer systems. I love my work, I get to be outside, but pretty much only when I want to be! I have been a farmer, bartender, student, construction worker, truck driver and fertilizer plant manager. I have 3 wonderful kids and a wife of nearly 6 years. I drive 86 miles one way to get to work, but soon we will have our own place with 160 acres about 1 mile from my parents place where I grew up. Except for around the towns, North Dakota is very empty and land is cheap. This is a wonderful place to live.......I mean, it is terrible here, don't come here, no hunting or fishing, no wonderful views or anything like that. I have a 1949 B-1 PW with a IHC 304 V-8 in it. Old IHCs are my main obsession, but I will always have the PW.
