Drove m-60 tanks in the army for 4 years, then operated nuclear reactors on submarines in the navy for 12 years, then factory worker and electronics teacher for about 7 years. Decided to make a big career change about 2 years ago and just started work this month as an emergency room nurse.
Live in the suburbs of San Diego, but plan to eventually move out closer to my property 50 miles east in the mountains where I have a cabin and keep 3 flatfender power wagons, give or take a few boxes of parts. Planning a combination of nursing career, organic farming, and woodworking to keep it going. (also plan on building that power wagon woodie someday).
I think there is some sort of natural law that relates the size of a person's property and their collection of old cars/trucks/boats/trailers. It would go something like this: The total square footage of old vehicles in the collection will be greater than the square footage of space available to park them by about 2 vehicles. Of course this law doesn't work any more since someone went and invented those lifts so you can lift one truck and drive another in under it.
