I work for a sub-contractor for NASA that launches sub-orbital sounding rockets for research at Wallops Island, VA. Specifically the Attitude Systems Lab that deals with the pointing of the payload during the data taking part of the flight. We travel to White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico, Poker Flats, Alaska and various overseas places when we have a campaign, such as Brazil, Peru, Norway or Sweden. We will be traveling to the Kwajalein Atoll, South Pacific this summer (2004) for a campaign. I hope I get to go.
I hope to clean out my garage to get my 55 FFPW in, to do a restoration. Also volunteer as an EMT. I hope to get back into scuba diving on the many shipwrecks off the coast of VA and MD.
