I currently (past 13 yrs.) am working for machine shop that is over 125 yrs old. I do design and engineering work. We do parts as small as a paper clip, up to 75Tons and 30 ft. long. Get involved in lots of projects for the rubber industry. I use AutoCad LT for our drafting work.
Grew up as an Air Force brat. Lived in England for 3 yrs. That was an interesting tour. Became an Eagle Scout, spent the '76 bicentennial on a 6 week trip up to Fairbanks Ak. And i'm glad I was in Scouts, they were some of the best times i've had.
Married 15 yrs to my wife Elaine. As for children, I have a son in college, and my wife has two that are out in the 'real world', and we've been raising her niece for
the past 11 yrs.
As for a power wagon. I came "real" close to getting one from someone on the forum recently. But am going to wait 'till next year to acquire one. Pay down some bills first, then get a project.
Haven't contributed any major helps to the forum, just one of those that watches it constantly though. Everyone here seems to be a great bunch of folks. I subscribe to PWA, and have been showing my dad. He said next year we're going to the Iowa Rally, so i'll be able to put some faces w/names. It
won't be to long of a trip, as I live in Topeka, Ks.
By the way Dave, this was a great question to post. I agree with putting it on the 'best of forum'.
