Were you using an inline Muzzleloader? That sounds like one of them inline shots to me. Hey! Elk is my Favorite wild Game meat. We have Elk here in Michigan, but they are up north. There is a limited Elk hunting season here that very few people win the lottery for. The hunter sucess rate on Elk up here is not too high either, but I'd still like to go...someday. Glad to hear of your sucessfull hunt. Care to trade some Elk meat for some parts? LOL!
