I've been a machinist for 15 years and currently work for John Deere in the power train division. I set up and run lathes, mills, hobs, verticle machining centers, and occasionally a spline roller. We build the big tractors here, 100 HP and better.
I am in the process of selling this tiny one acre spread we live at now, and moving up to four acres, with the option of picking up some more in two years. This new place has a 36 x 45 with a poured floor, so all the trucks will finally be under one roof. I used to stretch a tarp across my trucks to work on them, so the Lord has blessed me greatly...
