I have 4 old FH6 fuel pumps laying around, and I was trying to find a good one to use in a 230 I have in the garage.
All the spare ones seemed to have no pressure, so I bought a new one.
The new one feels just like the old ones, fingers on both the inlet and outlet, I feel no pressure at all.
I put a line on the new pump, put the other end of the ine in a bucket of fuel, and I got no fuel after pumping for a while.
Is there some trick to these glass bowl fuel pumps, or did I get a bad pump??
I am used to the more modern 318 pumps, and those you can hear the pressure!
Any and all help is appreciated!!
Thanks!
Eric
