When I hooked mine up I had seperate wires for the brake lights and front turn signals. But when you use the 4 way flasher only the front turn signals flashed. You still had brake lights, I had to add rear lights for the 4/Ways to work in the rear. When you brake the brake light will flash for the turn signal and the other brake light will be brite. But when you used the 4/ways it only worked the fronts. I hope this is clear. So by adding extra lights on the rear and hooking them to the fronts you could have 4/way flashers all the way around.
