Dana 70 Question

Since there are no 6 lug one ton drums to be had, will the 68 and later 8 lug drums fit? If only it could be that easy. I have a 67 W-300. Rim choices are whats driving my efforts here. I am tired of the split rims and heavy tires for everyday running around.
