I am tempeted to do the same myself. I could probley get good at it by the time the 120 ft of welds the baffles alone will take to do. Each small baffle takes 20 ft of weld and there are 6 0f them and the center one takes 32 ft. Add the ends at 26 ft each and the top lid bolt bracket 30ft you are looking at around 230 ft of weld. Bet it takes a while to do?? Wonder how fast a Mig lays a weld per inch and I could figure how many hours of welding it would take. I might stager the welds on the inside baffles to 6 inches long every 12 inches to save on the welding a little. That is on both sides of the plate for strength. Mark H.
