Regarding my'50 PW. The lettering on the doors measure 15" across top line (Atomic Energy)12"across bottom line (Commission).
All letters captials 1.5"tall,1" wide block lettering. There is a sixteenth inch border around each letter. It's centered on the door.
The PW is rust free, even the door bottoms. It probably is a Neveda or New Mexico truck.
It was painted over yellow once in civilian life.
It's original color was solid white with light gray interior. It has a MU-2 winch,1st series pickup bed.
I was trying to find somewhere on the Internet a color picture of these trucks, and is there any more lettering or numbering I should look for?
Regards, Mark
