PW vs W series beds

I know they are different, but how and what would have to be done to the W series to work on a pw? The length is different, but where, front to wheel well, or wheel well to rear. Also, would the tailgate from the w series work on a pw or is the width different? The w series in question is a '65 W200 long bed stepside of course. Thanks for repeating this answer, maybe it goes in the glovebox or FAQ section?
