I am in the process of assembling my clutch for my B4PW, I have the pressure plate and disk in place and the throw out bearing behind the clutch fork. Is there anything I should be aware of before I return the transmission such as lubrication, etc. I would hate to have struggled getting the gear box back and finding out I missed something. BTW I have a sewcond series transmission. I have heard that it is not as robust as the first series and of course has the straight cut gears. I was considering a third series trnasmission but I understand it will not mate to my bell housing. I do however have a third series bell housing. Would it be worth while now to consider replacing my current trnasmission with the newer one?
Thanks for any advice.
