That is the only way I take off the frontend of my truck. Just detach the hood, the rear front fender support the radiator support rods, Unbolt the base of the radiator from the frame and take off the radiator hoses and disconnect the head light wiring. There are also some bolts on the splash pans that come loose. My son and I just lift it and walk it forward. Takes very little time to do and is easy. With a winch it is easier to lift with a overhead hoist and roll the truck out from under. It is not a bit awakward to do.
