What about using bolts instead of rivets for all those parts coming loose? The real weight of the load is above the rear axle assembley not on the frame splice so much. The load would be on the part of the frame that was not cut and about 20% on the spliced part. Sorta like a trailer carring a load over the axles and the tonge welded on to pull the load with. Mark H.
