There was one here in a town called NewBern {North Carolina} I got the front bumber off it and the wiper motor covers.
The dealer who owned it was going to clean up his place by scrapping out all the old military trucks, mainly M35s, but also about 20 plus M37s.{with nice tail gates} I asked him could I buy the M37s that were very complete and the Power Wagon. He told me to go and mark all the trucks I wanted to buy from him.{I think I was going to get the trucks for about $30.00 each} I picked out 2 nice M37s with hard tops and the Power Wagon. I spray painted the roofs DO NOT CRUSH SOLD.
I went back a couple of days later the owner, who is a good guy meet me with a long face."I am sorry, but the crushing company crushed every thing back there" {to include an old pick up that one of his workers was storing in the lot}
The Power Wagon had the brackets for the boom, but the boom was not on the truck. Also, on the bumber was a flat plate that a vice would have been mounted on.
Sorry for the long story.
One of the few, the proud, Frank
