I used a product called "Stone Gaurd" from Napa. All you do is spray light coats over the wheel till you get the coverage you want. You can paint it or just leave it black. It will fill fine cracks and be some what flexable so not to crack later. It also gives a little texture to the wheel for better grip. If you spray it heavy it will be smoother, light coats more texture. I did mine and love it. Will not rub off and very durible finish. Mark H.
