WC - 54's for sale need Vin Number Info

Aquired 3 WC-54 ambulances, one has tag above passenger windshield, 42-B-147,and frame # 81587923. The the others have number on front left frame rail only and no tag. Is there a way to decode these numbers for year model? For instance # 81690665. I would like to sell two but do not have any specifics on them to advertise.
