Which Knuckle assemblies to use?

I want to convert my halfton d44 front end to 8 lug and need to know how. I thought about chevy or ford assemblies but the steering setup would be messed up. Then I thought about dodge front ends but they are fulltime. What about a 81-83? How do I do this. I need to keep my truck part time (it has been converted). Thanks
