Okay, so here's the story. I've got a '73 W200 that I have just dropped a 440 into. Fortunately, there's no cab or doghouse on it right now, makes things much easier. Only one little problem, the exhaust manifolds I've got supposedly came from a truck, but they don't even come close to fitting right. I suppose I could just cut out about half the frame around the manifold on the driver's side, but that just seems too simple!The 440 is stock from a '75 New Yorker, so are headers even worth the trouble? I live in the rust belt so I don't want to be changing headers every few years. Does anyone have some stock manifolds they want to part with real reasonable? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
