The parts are the cheap part! If you do not have a HI-PRESS Crimp tool don't do it the cable will slip out. A proper splice will break the cable befor it pulls out of the crimp. I bought this tool many years ago to make ground conections on ground cables for a goverment job they were very pickey on how they were done. Also it was used on hanging air-craft warning lights 185 ft off the ground on a smoke stack. No way would you want the conection to fail. They were also inspected by the military since it was on Fort Lewis. I just kept the tool when I closed shop after 19 years figuring it would come in handy someday. Mark H.
