Hauling Horses with a PW

My son is now a horse owner (long story).

He is looking to relocate the horse to Southern California from Central California (about 300 miles) and approached me to do the job with the 59 Townie.

I told him I don't know the first thing about moving horses and told him to get someone with experience to do this. The combination of 300 miles of high speed interstate coupled with the fact that I don't know the first thing about horses made me back off from my son's request. I still feel a little bad about it though. Anyone out there ever haul horses with a PW?
