Interesting you should mention the bolt from inside the oil pan. Just so happens when I was removing the plate I heard a clunk and lo and behold that bolt fell inside the oil pan preventing me from rotating the crank. Thank God this happened before mounting the engine in the truck. Imagine the damage a flying bolt inside the pan would cause with the engine running. I used thread locker on the bolt when returning it also replaced pan gaskets. This did give me the opportunity to see how clean the pan was inside too.
