My son called the other day, a hot an miserable day here in the midwest. He asked about the weather and we told him it was 96 and humid as ever. He sort of chuckled... it was 123 degrees in Irag where he's living with the 101st Airborne, and humid as ever (Euphrates River valley) with a mosquito population to equal that of Minnesota... all living in his tent.

Making my summer feel not quite so bad...
