Vaughn, my parts manuals show that from 1946 through 1954 there were 4 different distributors used on civilian Power-Wagons, 3 different caps, 2 different rotors, and 2 different point sets. All of these were 6-volt. Some of these numbers are not shown in later parts books which is typical of a LOT of parts, but in any case, they all show engine number T137-18518 as being the point at which the cap changed from the larger AL-96 to the smaller AL-138. The engine bearing this number was installed in a Power-Wagon sometime before 1951. My 1951 and 1952 B3PWs both have the smaller cap 6-volt distributor and are both sequential and correct according to the parts books.
