The 47RE that is found in HD DOdge trucks also is derived from the 727. There is a new 5-45RFE and a 45RFE that is found in V-6 Dodge Trucks, Grand Cherokees and the Liberty, the 5-45RFE is a 5 speed automatic. Most of these transmissions will interchange with the 318, 360, 4.7, 3.7 and I-6 258 emgines found in both early and late model Jeeps and Mopars. Even before Jeep became a part of Chrysler, it used many Mopar components.
