I just don't care any longer for trying to make stuff work and having to cut on my cab or frame. I find the dennen OD kit to be the best answer while keeping most everything else stock. I like my intermediate shaft, my PTO and as soon as I get the spare cash, I'll very possibly get the dennen OD kit. Upgrades should be relatively easy and trouble free such as the kits helitool makes.
Yea, you can put a sb chevy in a PW but what have you got then? A halfbred mongrel truck. A NV4500 does not fit without changing
other things that takes away from the basic simple function of the stock PW. I guess I've just gotten over my youthful ideas to turn my WM300 into a supertruck and now accept it for what it really is, a 40's vehicle with a place for everything and everything in its place design. I have finally learned how to drive 45, it is my answer to controlling road rage as I now get to piss everyone else off by doing the posted speed limit.
