Cheap and Easy Removal of Front Axle Bushings

Maybe this is old hat to the readers, but the bronze bushings and inner seals fit a 1&1/4 NPT pipe tap. Simply drive the tap in with an impact wrench. Remove the tap and insert a 1&1/4 nipple and cap. Attach the cap to your slide hammer and out they come.
Don't drive the tap in too far when removing the seal or you may damage the retaining lip
