I recommend the Optima 6-volt. It looks like half a six-pack. 870 cold cranking amps, with 200-some amps reserve capacity. They're about $115, but are great. I use one in my '53 FF and one in my '53 Chevy sedan. It's half the size of a regular 6-v battery, so you can put two in the tray in parallel for even more umph. It's a gel cell, so less likely to cause trouble from acid. The one drawback is it is not for deep cycling, so you don't want to run one down too far before recharging. For starting, it is great. It has thin spiral-wound lead plates. My 2-cents' worth.
