Got third place at Eagle, MI in 2000. Beaten by a Dodge 1 1/2 ton stake truck (2nd) and a FWD or Oshkosh snow blower from Upper Michigan, and it was in 2nd gear.

Recommend you:
adjust the carb mixture and idle screw for RPM as low as possible
make sure the engine is fully warmed up when you run
Low Range, 1st gear, unlock the front hubs if you have them
Start back of the starting line so you are at steady state as you cross
Not sure that a dragging e-brake is within in the spirit of the rules
