I would stay away from the floppy disk camera. Floppy disks are far to easy to damage and they are also a technology that is obsolete (I have thrown away dozens of bad floppys, but never a bad memory stick). In a couple years you will have to special order the drives with most computers.
Get one with a memory stick such as a Compact Flash, download the photos to your computer, and burn them to a CD if you are concerned about loosing them. Make sure the camera has a USB connection and data transfer won't take all day.
I have a Kodak 3900 that takes terrific photos and has a one-touch docking station that also recharges the batteries.
