Kind of what I been leaning toward myself. The Duals are great for hauling a load, but are the craps in the snow or on a rutted trail, or mud, hence the reason for being able to quickly pull the outside wheels and run inline singles.
I have a '56 H model cab, and a '57 D500 truck with no motor or trans and perfect sheetmetal. How about a crewcab '57 D500 with a 413 and 5 speed, 2 speed rear axle, 6 foot bed, 9.00-20 tires, and a gooseneck hitch. Am I dreaming or what????
