Yes. That is a common application of the Aluminizing process. Another common use is in coating aftermarket headers. They are typically made of steel tubing, but I would be interested to see how it works on cast iron manifolds. Seems that I remember reading where a company in California was using this process at one time to repair cracked and pitted antique exhaust manifolds. I bet some of us could find a mainfold or two that needs refurbishing.
