Dropped by a friend's house tonight. Saw this 3 T sitting in his driveway for sale.
I asked if it's a Powerwaggon. Nope...he said, just a Dodge. He said it was a "blackout" version, where all the chrome was painted. This was encouraged along the coasts during WWII, so the chrome wouldn't shine and attract the enemy?
I guess it was an original West Coast truck. 1st registered in '46. Military vehicle? Or other work truck to keep country going during the war?
It's a big truck. Ever seen one of these? I don't know if it has a name, other than "Dodge."
