I have a 1977 P.W. The windshield has been replaced twice by a "professional"????? shop. It still leaks and with electrical tape covering various parts of the rubber, I have found that the water is coming past the chrome trim that is in the center of the gasket. As long as I have a piece of tape covering the trim, about four inches on the drivers side top corner, there is no leak. Evidently, these professionals have punched a hole in the trim channel. I have decided to seal this hole after removing the trim. Does anyone know if this is possible without pulling the rubber gasket?
