Hi Rob,

I tighten them to the point that the lock washer was flat, I didn't want to go to much, just snug them. If you’re going to use polyurethane, I would use a 1/4Hx4Wx4L steel plate next to the cab above the big flat washer. Not any flex in polyurethane material and the insulator area is not real strong. If you notice the door jam front is to the left of the insulator area. The door jam takes the energy of the G force when you’re going over bumps and such. The plate distributes that energy to the insulators preventing a possible cracking problem later. That would be my suggestion and reduce the front insulators by a ¼ inch to compensate. You’ll have to cut one end of the plate to match the curve of the cab. You’ll find this gives a more solid ride even using this plate with rubber insulators.
