I'm impressed! I can just imagine explaining to a DMV clerk how I got the VIN and why no VIN rubbing or natural light photo is available to verify it when I apply for a new title:-) *

BTW: I had to reschedule looking at the truck to tonight from yesterday.

* perhaps the VIN would "reappear" freshly stamped if discovered by this technique.
