Edlebrock or Holley carb?

I have a little stock 2bbl. car on my 318 and it is getting way to much fuel. smoke plumes out of the exhaust when i idle. Im going to have to get a new carb and I have heard good things about both Holley Dual line 4bbl and Edlebrock Performers. I'de like the hear what you guys have to say.
