Arthur, the image supplied by Larry gives a good quick reference of the system and its hydraulic controls. Sometimes people ask about the 3-point hitch, and what they are really trying to ask about is the adjustable rear drawbar. This factory supplied drawbar is being reproduced by Todd as mentioned above (if I were to paint both of mine I could not tell the reproduction from the original). It can be confusing for those who have never seen either piece of equipment as the drawbar basically mounts to the truck at "3 points" and, by lining up various sets of holes, can be adjusted in three planes for proper alignment to equipment to be towed. The 3-point hitch is similar to the category I hitches found on tractors and raises and lowers attached equipment hydraulically. Other than the control cylinder attached to the hitch itself, I will not be producing drawings for the hydraulic pump, controls, etc.
