My brother has one. They where made in Compton, CA. I beleive there were something like 800 pickups and 300 station wagons make between 1955 and 1957. They are made on 40's plymouth chassis. If anyone would like more info I could get you in touch with my brother. Is this one in Kansas for sale? How much?
