You are right. The only difference in the 3500 and the 2500 are the extra leafs in the back. I own a 2500 Quad Cab H.O. Turbo Diesel and after driving the 3500 I felt that the extra jarring ride wasn't worth the convience of being able to haul around 800 pounds of extra cargo every once in a while. Besides, If I want a rough ride I can always drive my 47 WDX. Oh ya, one more thing. The running lights that the one ton has are an option. You can have them installed on any Dodge Ram truck. Those are the only differences that I am aware of. Jerry, what kind of fuel mileage are you getting out of your truck? And is it a diesel ?
