I've got a 1975 W100 with the 360 engine. It's been sitting for several years doing nothing but the occasional startup for emissions test. It's got under 40K original miles.
Unfortunatly, it has a terrible problem getting it started. It always has. Once started, it also has problems idling.
I believe the problem is because it has only a 2-barrel carburetor. Does it sound reasonable that this could be the problem? If it does, any suggestions on how to go forward in "fixing" the engine to handle a 4-barrel? I'm thinking a new carb and new intake manifold to start with.
Thanks,
Casey
