new PW owner needs advice

I have a 1975 fulltime 4x4. What kind of kit do I need to convert to parttime and how much will it cost? I have a 1972 with parttime. Can I use those parts to convert the 1975 truck? Will anything have to be done to transfer case? Is fulltime 4wheel drive different than when you have the hubs locked on a parttime 4 wheel drive? Thank you for any help you can give me.
