you can find the above suggested vehicle in OD. I do not remember the designation, but the exact same 1/2 ton, 2WD, slant six, SWB Dodge was used by the military for several years.
There is an older gentleman running around town in one, that supposedly has never done anything major to the motor. It is a daily driver.
