The day befor we sold my wife's '78 Chevy Monza (305ci V-8, 4-speed, wide 60's all around...but that is a whole 'nother story), I pulled the cloth off of the headliner that had been coming lose and hanging in spots. I removed all of the trim pieces, stuck common black contact paper to the cardboard backing, and put the trim back on. There were a lot of nasty wrinkles from trying to stretch that flat contact paper to a curved headliner, but at least it was not hanging down in the way anymore. The next day, after the dark blue car had set in the sun, we got in it to drive it to the dealership, and all of the contact paper was stretched tight side to side and front to back between the trim pieces from getting hot. Not a wrinkle in it! The salesmen didn't even notice. Of course, they were somewhat preoccupied with doing burnouts through the dealership parking lot.
Keep up the good work Mark. You have something there to be proud of.
Clint
