Hopefully someone out there will know a bit about these
split banjo Timken (model FDS750) front axles. They
look for all the world like the same axles as the ones
under the front of a friends half-track. Nobody seems
to be able to confirm or deny this suspicion though.
Does anyone know if parts such as the steering knuckle
boots, bearings, seals, etc... will interchange
between these vehicles? Any other ideas or suggestions
would be gratefully accepted as well, though I would
like to retain the original axle.
