I have a lot of experience with mopar "B" engines in trucks. The PW I own right now is a 74 3/4 ton with a 440 in place of the stock 360. I found the best all around intake is the edelbrock performer, even though some of the early ones cracked underneath by the heat crossover under abusive conditions such has towing. I am using a Crane cam, and have had the best luck with it. It is a HMV 272. It seems to make the engine real responsive. Its a 4wheel drive with 35 inch tires a 4.10 locker and a stick and will easilly break the tires loose at any speed up to approx. 35 miles an hour by just rolling on the gas. With an auto and 3.54s I would go with the next size smaller cam which I believe is a HMV 268 assuming you have a stock torque converter. this cam doesnt have quite the top end but has more low end and is still really "frisky" I am using a stock windage tray from mopar performace. I would upgrade the oiling system as this is kinda the weak link in the big block mopars. A high volume/high pressure pump would help along with a windage tray and possibly a larger capacity oil pan. I am using a Hemi pickup which is 1/2 inch in diamater versus 3/8. As long as you dont rev it too hard (past 5000) you shouldnt have a problem. Any questions, feel free to write.
