You might try to repair what you have. I have successfully reconstructed headlight housings using fiberglass cloth and gelcoat. I have used a good housing and made a mold by placing the housing in a molding compound, such as plaster of paris, or a synthetic material. Seal the mold with polyurethane or something like that. Then you can lay the bad housing in the mold after coating the mold with a release agent. You can then lay the soaked fiberglass cloth inside the housing. Put the gelcoat on the outside, sand, fill small voids with spot putty or bondo, sand and primer. This works good, and is inexpensive, although somewhat time consuming. Good luck, give it a try.
